I like how many parts of the movie you realize Thor, Steve, and Loki really do not know what the fuck is going on.
I just want a movie with Thor, Steve and Loki attempting to figure out this century. LIke, no action, no adventure, no explosions. Just wifi.
And then every so often Tony shows up and just rolls his eyes as Loki screams at the toaster, demanding for it to surrender his breakfast.

More Than a Character
Most people say that some of the people that have inspired me most in my life: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Dobby, The Doctor, Amelia Pond, Rory Williams, Maximum Ride, Zuko, Toph, Mal Reynolds, Katniss Everdeen, Buffy Summers, Angel, Sherlock, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Winnie the Pooh, and countless others, do not exist as they are fictional characters.
My first thought is, “Oh you poor soul, you grew up.”
Soon after is, I protest. These “characters”, tangible or not, very much exist; not only to me, but also *in* me. These people made me cry very real tears, and feel very real emotions. They all have inspired me and helped to shape who I am today, and are still shaping me. I take it upon myself to always try to display Harry’s courage, strive after Hermione’s intelligence, to use Draco’s wit, to defy societies expectations of me like Dobby, to still see the wonder in the world and be a child, when appropriate, when I’m 900 years old like The Doctor, to be able to have complete faith like Amelia, to defend the people I love like Rory, to be myself and be proud of it like Max, to be able to admit I’m wrong and try to fix my wrongs like Zuko, to be able to fend for myself despite adversity like Toph, to never stop fighting for what I believe in like Mal, to have the strength to protect my family even when it means certain death like Katniss, to do what’s right even when it makes my life more difficult like Buffy, to be compassionate and loving despite my past like Angel, to find people that will be by my side despite my insanity like Sherlock, to be creative and artistic like Rapunzel, to realize that there are more important things than money like Flynn, and to never let anything upset me more than an “Oh bother” like Pooh.
These characters may be fictional to you, but to me they’re more than real. They’re my best friends, my teachers, and a part of me that I hope never dies. <3
Bomb with activated timer found on TAiwan HSR this morning
(CNN) — Six hundred passengers were evacuated from a high-speed train in Taiwan on Friday after explosives — attached to a timer and apparently close to detonation — were found in luggage inside a restroom, police said.
The Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp. train stopped at Hsinchu City after someone found the explosives in two pieces of luggage shortly after 9 a.m., according to police.
Police said the luggage was emitting white smoke, and people nearby could smell gas. The setup included 5 liters of gasoline and an activated timer device to trigger them, police said.
This is almost unbelievable. The only motivations I can think of are either someone who felt badly ripped off by THSRC land requisition or Chinese agents seeking to sow chaos and fear.

Energybending - A Comparison
While the Lionturtle and Aang use the same technique, Amon seems to be using another method.
When Aang takes away Ozai’s bending, and when the Lionturtle teaches Aang energybending, they both thouch TWO points on the body, the yin tang and the ru zhong point aka the Ajna chakra and the Anahata chakra.When Amon ‘takes away’ LBZ’s bending, he only touches ONE point, the yin tang.
Now what could that mean?
I think Amon is faking it. That he is making people believe that he is taking away their bending, when what he is actually doing is blocking a chakra.
Here is why:
Amon touches the yin tang point aka the Ajna chakra:
Location: Midway between the medial ends of the eyebrows Actions& Effects:
- Calms the spirit - insomnia, anxiety, stress.
- Frontal headache.
- Sinus issues - congestion, sinusitis.
When Uncle is teaching Zuko about lightning, he talks about bending needing a certain amount of inner calm. So, if you were to close that chakra and lock all the anxiety inside someone, making them incapable of being calm, that would effectively take someone’s bending away.
Quite clever actually, since the more terrified they are/become the more permanent this block will be. And Amon is sure laying it on thick.
